Big Time Wrestling - August 22nd
Hayling Island Wrestling celebrates their official one-year anniversary on August 22nd, bringing to you yet another action packed night of family entertainment. With a host of your favourite wrestlers, and a card of thrilling matches, this will be a celebration that everyone will enjoy!
Headlining the show will be a gigantic four-on-four tag team match, pitting Hayling’s favourite stars against the villainous representatives of H.I.W’s boss, Kerry Williams... Williams and the former Hayling champion, Dan James, have been gaining support from the locals, and will be presenting the team of Joby Johnson, Matt Campbell, Adi and Armstrong, in an attempt to overthrow the local heroes, in a match that will work elimination style, last team standing wins.
Against them will be the Valiant Ollie Burns, the current champion of Hayling. Having been battling Dan James and his cronies for the last year, this special anniversary contest will really show what Hayling Wrestling is about. Alongside him will be the high flying Jake McCluskey, who has been gunning for the opposing team’s Matt Campbell. McCluskey has worked his way into the fans' hearts with his breath-taking stunts of agility, and will look to take Campbell out of the match. Alongside them will be another two stars of Hayling’s wrestling roster, and with Williams and James treating the competitors as they have, there’s a list of men just waiting to get their hands on them...
Also to be featured on the show is the much anticipated Big, Bad Challenge. The comic duo of Rishi Ghosh and Big Will have become a mainstay of Hayling Wrestling, repeatedly challenging other tag teams to step up to the challenge. After having racked up an impressive losing record, the team are hoping that H.I.W.’s first anniversary show will mark their first win!
As per usual, Hayling Wrestling will also bring to you the top talent from the south of England, including Hayling’s Ant Lacayo, the monstrous Bellinger & Marvin Ellis, the speedy star Craig London, technical mastermind Gallagher, the devastating mammoth Atlas, and the Portsmouth superstar, Dan Head.
August 22nd will be an amazing show, taking place at the Hayling Island Community Centre, starting at 7:00, with tickets being available on the door or booked in advance at £5 per child, £8 per adult and £20 family of four. If you haven’t caught the wrestling bug yet, the first anniversary show will be an ideal show to get you going, with refreshments available.
