| Christmas Party Nghts |
The Hayling Golf club are opening their sumptuous restaurant facilities to any group of 8 or more, up to 70 persons.
The evening commences at 7pm with a 3 course Christmas dinner, fololowed by coffee and mince pies. A DJ (Paul Potter) is in attendance on the 6th Dec, and on the second event (12th DEc) Singer songwriter Dave Barrett.
Tickets: £28.00 per Person for the 6th Dec and £30.00P.P on the 12th Dec.

| Santa Specials at the Hayling Seaside Railway. |
Join the train at Eastoke Corner station, to meander in fully enclosed seasonally decorated carriages along the coast of Hayling Bay to Santaland, where all good children can visit Father Christmas in his special Railway Carriage Grotto to receive a gift, while grown ups enjoy a complimentary festive drink and a mince pie.
DATES and TIMES: Saturdays 6th, 13th & 20th, Sundays 7th, 14th, & 21st, Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, and Christmas Eve Wednesday 24th December, with trains from Eastoke Corner at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm, and 10am on all dates on and after Sunday 14th.
FARES: Adults (16+) £4, Children (2 -15) £5 and Children (Under 2) FREE! St Peter's Advent Fair
Saturday 13th December, 11-2Festive raffle, tombola, cakes and biscuits, gifts and crafts, bric-a-brac. Mince pies and coffee and a buffet lunch. Santa and Mrs Clause will be in their grotto giving small gifts to the children. |

| Bird Watching at North Common |
A short stroll around North Common taking time to look for and identify the harbour birds. Dress warmly and bring binoculars. No dogs please.
Meet 9am in small free car park to North Common, Hayling island. From bridge on to Hayling, take first left towards Northney Marina, follow road round past entrance to marina and hotel, shortly you will pass some houses on your left, look out for car park entrance (with height barrier) on your left.

Collection in the village in the morning so look out for the santas
Starts at the Ferry Boat Inn at 12pm and finishes at Lifeboat Inn

| Annual Santa Cycle Ride |
This is now a well-established tradition on the Sunday before Christmas, when dozens of cycling Santas, both Father and Mother Christmases, go cycling in Hampshire and West Sussex for a jolly round of the hostelries, with good cheer had by all. Last year there were over 60 in number - why not join in?
Start at the Ship Inn, Langstone, at 11am, taking breakfast at Wetherspoons in Chichester and several pubs on the way back. |
